Used Caravan Warranty Policy

Our aim is to supply you with a trouble-free caravan fully serviced & a demonstration of all the working parts of the caravan on collection. As with all used products there is an ageing process which causes deterioration of fixtures and fittings. Our warranty whilst reflecting this process is designed to cover the most important aspects of safety and structural integrity.

KEY FEATURES 

The following warranty applies. 

Caravans up to 4 model years old:

12 Months from date of collection 

Caravans up to 9 model years old: 

6 Months cover applies 

All Caravans over 9 years old: 

3 Months cover applies 

Any balance of manufacturer’s warranty is to be transferred by you as the new owner. No guarantee is given that the remaining balance of warranty can be transferred. It is down to you as the new owner to cover the cost of any manufactures change of ownership or warranty transfer fees.

ITEMS COVERED

Cooker- cooker burners, grill and oven flame failure devices and ignitors

Fridge– gas ignitors, flame failure 12v and 230v elements and power boards

Water System– water heater and water pump

Cassette Toilet– pump and reed switch (excluding seals, valves and glands)

Auxiliary Electrics– battery charger, mains hook up input connector

Heating System– control unit, flame failure device and ignitors (excluding ducting and fittings)

Suspension– springs, hangers, shackle pins, shock absorbers and mountings (excluding damage or faults to brake drums and shoes that are caused through misuse or normal wear and tear)

Body Shell Integrity– water ingress through any permanently sealed seam or joints and delamination of the floor, being part of the caravans original construction.

EXCLUSIONS

1.Bulbs, fluorescent tubes, LEDs and fuses 2. Interior lights 3. Tyres and wheels 4. Batteries 5. Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms 6. Carpets, floor coverings and soft furnishings 7. Adjustments to blinds 8. Doors and flyscreens 9. Hinges 10. Windows and roof lights 11. Kitchen and vanity taps 12. Shower trays, cubicles, shower doors and shower taps 13. Surface finishes to kitchen sinks, cooker tops, vanity units and worktops, 14. Entertainment equipment 15. Arial and satellite systems 16. Microwaves 17. Alarms 18. Front and rear panels 19. Motor mover and ancillaries

Not covered are faults arising from accidental damage or damage caused by misuse or any component part of the caravan and the replacement of parts which have reached the end of their working due to age or usage

Please note for any warranty repair agreed, the caravan must be returned to Collier Street Caravans at a mutually agreed date for works to be undertaken
